National Society endorses HighLight training and curriculum programmes

HighLight is delighted to report that the ‘National Society’, which represents 4,700 Anglican schools in England and 172 schools in Wales, has given official recognition and endorsement to our training of staff and curriculum programmes.  HighLight has received from Church House in London a certificate of endorsement.

Bishop John Pritchard of Oxford, who is now chairman of the Church’s board of education, wrote his congratulations to HighLight.  He felt HighLight was offering an approach that could help Anglican schools in their aim to be more distinctive in their Christian ethos.  This is the aim of recent reports, such as the Dearing Report, by the Church of England  into their schools.

Head of Schools Effectiveness, Mrs Nicola Sylvester, wrote: “We trust this will be the beginning of a very fruitful relationship with HighLight.”
